HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Monarchs would start the first half on a quick 4-0 run that Camden Ferguson would break with a 3-pointer from deep.

After some back and forth action the Pacers would break out on a 20-3 run which spanned over five minutes and gave the Pacers a 12 point lead.

Down the stretch in the first half it would turn into a game of large runs as Methodist would respond with a 15-0 run to give the Monarchs a 31-29 lead with under 5 minutes remaining.

The first half would close out with a three point play from Malik Manley to tie the game up at 40-40 heading into halftime.

The second half would see the Monarchs come out red hot as they went on a 10-0 run. Mikal Gaylord would answer and cut the Monarch's lead to 6 points with under 15 minutes left to play.

There would be no slowing down the Monarchs as they shot and impressive 75% from the field in the second half on 24 of 32 shooting.

The Pacers would continue to chip away and fight down the stretch and come within 13 points with a Camden Ferguson 3-pointer.

In the end the Monarchs would pull away, continuing their impressive second half shooting and hold the Pacers for a 104-70 win.

Sam Mingledoff finished with a game high 20 points.

Dante Burden would add 19 points to go along with 9 assists and 6 rebounds.

Kevin Mclaughlin had 15 points.
STATS OF THE GAME:

The Pacers shot 38.8% from the field on 23 of 60 shooting to the Monarchs 55.6%.

Both teams struggled with turnovers as the Pacers finished with 22 while the Monarchs had 16.

Methodist found success in the paint as they finished with 44 points in the paint.
WHAT"S NEXT?
The Pacers conclude their season with an overall record of 13-13 and 9-8 in conference play. This game also marked the last game for six Pacer seniors, Tre McLean, Paul Dunlap, Jason Dudley, William Walker, Samuel Arnold and Maurice Canady. All six have contributed a great deal to the men's basketball program as well as the athletic department. Congrats on an awesome career guys!
