Arlington,VA-- The Pacers fell to Marymount University on October 5th, 2019 by a score of 3-0. The Pacers now drop to a record of 5-6-1 overall.
In the first half, Marymount's Sita Nair got the game started quickly with a shot just 25 seconds in with a shot wide to the left. Marymount dominated possession with a multitude of short range passes in the first half while having a few opportunities on goal. The first goal of the game wouldn't come until the 36:39 minute mark, when Marymount's Gabby Cabrales would score. The goal was assisted by Taylor Memon. The Pacers would continue to hold off Marymount, only allowing one more shot until the end of the first half but were unable to get past the Marymount defense.
The second half would continue to see Marymount control possession with many passes up and down the field. Keeper
Kasey Wilkins would quickly get tested 15 seconds into the second half and was able to come up with the save. Marymount would see the back of the net for a second time at 83:17, with a goal from Courtney Stephens and assisted by Mia Londregan. The final goal against the Pacers would come at the 86:46 minute mark, scored by Karen Reyes. This goal would finish off the hard fought game against Marymount University as they took a 3-0 win over the Pacers
