RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace men's soccer team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 4, as they take on Hampden-Sydney College at 7:00 p.m. This will mark the second time these two teams have faced off.

The Pacers are coming off of their season opener where they faced Shenandoah University on Saturday, September 2. After battling it out through two halves of play, the Pacers ended regulation in a 1-1 tie with the Hornets. Due to inclement weather in the area, the Pacers were unable to begin overtime play.

The Hampden-Sydney Tigers enter the match with an overall record of 0-2. The Tigers recently fell to Mary Washington University, and will be looking to earn a win on their home turf. Last season, the Pacers and Tigers gave a great game that would end 2-1 in favor of Hampden-Sydney after a late goal gave them the one-point edge.
