Men's Soccer Back in Action Against Bishops

RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University men's soccer program is back in action at WakeMed Soccer Park on Wednesday, September 19 as they take on North Carolina Wesleyan in a mid-week conference game at 7:00 p.m. The Battling Bishops enter the game on a three-game losing streak. This marks the first conference game of the season for both teams.

The Pacers and Bishops have been away from the field the past week due to the arrival of Hurricane Florence. The Pacers last played on September 9, when they lost in overtime to Ferrum College, 1-2. The Bishops' last contest was against Christopher Newport University where N.C. Wesleyan lost a close battle to the Captains, 3-2.

The Pacers are lead by newcomer, Jorge Aguilar. The freshman midfielder tallies four goals on the season thus far and leads the team in total shots (14). Aguilar was recently named the USA South Rookie of the Week.

Catch the game against the Bishops with live stats and live stream.
