Men's Tennis Defeats Wasps of Emory and Henry

EMORY, VA -- The William Peace University men's tennis team defeated Emory and Henry University on Friday afternoon, 7-2. The Pacers now sit (2-3) overall and (1-0) in conference play.

Five Pacers finished their singles matches with wins against the Wasps. Patrick Ralph earned his first victory of the season defeating Dalton Shipley in the three spot. Dylan Betancourt recorded his fourth singles victory of the season sweeping Liam Davidson 6-0 each set.

Betancourt and Ralph continued to dominate in their doubles match while Davis Felts and Daniel Carter picked up wins in their doubles competitions as well.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Pacers face a quick turn around as they face conference opponent, Ferrum College, on Saturday, March 10 at 12PM on the Ragland Tennis Courts. The Panthers are (0-3) on the season thus far and have yet to begin conference play.
