MISENHEIMER, NC -- The William Peace University men's tennis team fell to Pfeiffer University on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 9-0. WPU freshman Dylan Betancourt made advances against his singles opponent but was unable to defend the one spot Falcon, finishing in two sets 6-3, 6-3. Andrew Anderson took his opponent to seven points in a close singles battle in the five spot but would fall 7-5 in the final set.

The Pacers are back in action on Saturday, March 10 at 12:00 p.m. for a home contest against the Panthers of Ferrum College. The Falcons are 0-1 on the season thus far having lost to Lynchburg College. This will be the first conference match-up for the Panthers.
