RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University men's tennis team defeated the Pride of Greensboro College for the second time this season, 8-1.

The Pacers won a total of eight of their nine matches in the Saturday afternoon contest. Freshman standout, Dylan Betancourt continued his impressive play in the one spot, taking the singles match and doubles match alongside doubles partner, Patrick Ralph. Betancourt is now 9-3 against singles opponents this season. Davis Felts faced an exciting match up in the singles two spot, going to three sets before falling in the tie-breaker set to Greensboro's Daniel Christian.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Pacers are back in action on Tuesday, March 27 when they take on Methodist University at 12:00 p.m. on the Ragland Tennis Courts in Raleigh. The Monarchs are 6-5 on the season thus far and are 2-2 in conference action.
