RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University men's tennis team took care of business on Thursday afternoon, defeating the Royals of Johnson University, 8-1. The Pacers improve to an overall record of 4-4.
Dylan Betancourt handled his singles competition in the one spot with strength, going 6-1 and 6-2. Betancourt holds a four-game winning streak in singles competition and is 7-1 against opponents in singles competitions. Despite taking his first set, Patrick Ralph would fall in a battle against Johnson's Matt Nordstrom in the number two singles spot. This would be the only loss on the day for the Pacers as they swept the competition against the Royals.
