Holly Springs, NC -- The William Peace University men's lacrosse team were victorious against the Quakers of Wilmington College in a midweek non-conference matchup with a final score of 12-4
Florian and Albright Lead the Pacers' Attack: Anthony Florian, the sophomore midfielder from Raleigh, NC, has now scored in 7 of 8 games. In today's matchup, Florian was electric on the offensive side of the ball and would finish the game with four goals, two assist and seven ground balls. Dalton Albright, who has now scored seven goals in the Pacers last two games, also had four goals of his own today, now bringing him to eight goals on the season. Albright would score two of his four goals in the final two minutes of the first quarter.
The Quakers started the game off with three straight goals. The Pacers would then go on a goal run themselves scoring seven unanswered goals. Anthony Florian would have the Pacers first goal of the game on an EMO. Dalton Albright led the Pacers scoring in the first half with a hat trick! Finn McGrady and AJ Aguilar each had one goal at the half. Anthony Florian had two goals himself and the Pacers would lead 7-3 at the half.
Patrick Williams got the second half scoring underway off an assist from Nick Falso on an EMO. Nick Falso also scored one goal to make the score 9-4 going into the fourth. Â Anthony Florian got the fourth quarter underway with his hat trick goal after a Wilmington College penalty giving the Pacers another EMO. Two more goals were scored by the Pacers and it was Anthony Florian and Dalton Albright putting them at four goals each for the game!

The Pacers will play Brevard College, on March 17. The 2:00 p.m. game will be played in Brevard, NC. Brevard comes into the contest at 6-2 on the season overall. The Pacers are now 3-5.
