CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The WPU men's tennis team headed to Charlotte, NC on Sunday afternoon for a non-conference match against the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University. In an exciting display, the Pacers rallied against the Bulls but would fall just shy of victory with a final score of 4-5.
Dylan Betancourt, Daniel Carter and Andrew Anderson all saw victory in their singles matches. Andrew Anderson recorded his first career win taking Anthony Jefferson to three sets in an exciting comeback win. Davis Felts and Daniel Carter defeated Cameron Hyman and Eric Lopez in their doubles match with an impressive 8-2 finish.
