RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University volleyball team is set to take on the Lions of Piedmont College on Friday, November 2 at Meredith College in the semi-finals of the USA South Conference Volleyball Tournament. The Pacers enter the contest with the #2 tournament seeding in the east division, while the Lions enter the game as the #4 seed in the west.

The Pacers enter with a 24-5 overall record after posting a 15-2 mark in conference play and are winners of their last 14 straight games. William Peace has swept opponents 15 times this season and after starting the year 0-3 has lost just two games in their final 26 matches.

Piedmont is 15-10 with a 9-5 mark in USA South play and are coming off of a 7 game win-streak. The Lions defeated both Lagrange College and Covenant College to advance to the semi-finals. Piedmont swept the defending conference tournament champs in Covenant College with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday evening.
