RALEIGH, N.C. -- The William Peace University men's basketball team will face Pfieffer University (13-3) on Wednesday, January 30, after a week off from play. The 7:00 p.m. game will be held in the Hermann Athletic Center in Raleigh, NC.
The Pacers (4-13) are coming off a 70-85 loss to NC Wesleyan. Sophomore Tyson Sellers led the Pacers with 16 points in that game, and is currently the team's leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points per game, while sophomore
Camden Ferguson continues to lead the team from behind the arc. The team is averaging 73.4 points and 43.2 rebounds per game.
The Falcons are currently averaging 110 points per game, with senior Josh Calhoun averaging 25.1 points per game. They arrive after a close 109-105 loss to Greensboro College. The Pacers will need to limit their turnovers and be effective in the defensive end of the court to shut down the Pfieffer offense.
