Pacers Hit the Road for Conference Showdown Versus LaGrange

LaGrange, GA--The WPU men's team starts a weekend road trip in LaGrange, GA following a tough loss to Methodist University. Tip off is at 4:00pm.

Pacers look to bounce back from a tough battle versus Methodist. WPU kept the game close but in the final five minutes, Methodist pulled away with the win.

Tyson Sellers was the leading scorer with 21 in the Methodist game shooting 6-16 from the field and 3-9 behind the arch. Camden Ferguson scored 15 finding his three point shot in clutch moments followed by Tre Bryant making himself known in the paint with 10. The Pacers were out rebounded by the monarchs but hope to control the boards in tomorrow's game versus LaGrange.

LaGrange comes into the matchup 6-6 overall and 2-3 in USA South play..The Panthers have been in some very close matchups to start the season. LaGrange is coached by Kendal Wallace, and led by Junior captain Travis Thompson who averages 13.3 points per game. LaGrange sets their sights on moving above the five hundred mark tomorrow afternoon. The Pacers come in 3-10 overall and 2-4 in the USA South.
