RALEIGH, N.C. -- It's time to bust open the doors of the Hermann Athletic Center for WPU volleyball's first home game of the season. The Pacers play against Greensboro College on Wednesday night, September 27th, at 7:00 p.m. WPU's current record for conference is (2-1) and (5-10) overall. The Pride of Greensboro College enter the match (7-4) and (1-1) in the conference. Last year the Pacers defeated the Pride (3-1).
The Pacers enter the match ranking fourth in the East Division of the USA South conference. Senior,
Carson Williams, is second in overall conference standings for digs in a season with 294 and fifth in the overall conference for digs per set with 5.25.
There will be a Pacer Tailgate at 5:30 p.m. for all WPU students. Fans are encouraged to wear neon colors to support the Pacers in honor of the home opener. The tailgate will be in front of the Hermann Athletic Center, hosted by University Student Life.
