Men's Soccer To Face Monarchs

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The WPU men's soccer team continues conference play after suffereing their first USA South loss to Ferrum College. The Pacers will be playing Wednesday, September 27, at 6:00 p.m. taking on the Monarchs of Methodist University.
The Pacers will be entering the match with a record of (5-3-1) and a conference record of (1-1-1). The Monarchs will be entering strong with an over all record of (6-2-1) and a conference record of (2-0-0). The Pacers beat the Monarchs last year with a 1-0 finish and will be looking for a similar result this time around.

WPU's Chris Deleon notched his 17th career goal on Sunday's conference game against Ferrum and is now WPU men's soccer all-time leading scorer as well as number one in the conference for shots (45). Deleon also ranks fifth in the conference for points earned from assists and goals with 15. The Pacers are tied for fifth in the conference and will be looking to defeat the Monarchs who control third place in the conference.
