RALEIGH, N.C. -- The WPU volleyball team heads to Fayetteville, N.C. on Saturday, September 23, to continue their conference play against the Cougars of Averett University and the Monarchs of Methodist University in a conference tri-match.

The Pacers enter the match with a (1-0) record in conference and (4-9) overall and will be looking to capture two wins on the road against a (11-2) Cougar team who just gained their first conference win against Mary Baldwin and a (6-5) Monarch team who sit (0-1) in conference play after a loss to Salem College.

The Pacers enter the weekend ranked in a four-way tie for first place in the conference. Senior, Carson Williams is ranked second in the conference in total digs on the season with 249.
