FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The William Peace University women's basketball team fell to Methodist, 67-61, on Saturday afternoon. The Pacers were up, 30-27, heading into the half, but a 7-point third quarter was the Pacers undoing.
Nadine Ealey scored 14,
Tyler Mercer finished with 12 and
Jayde Grant added 11 points for the Pacers. The team finished the game only 31% from the floor.
The game featured plenty fouls with William Peace totaling 25 and Methodist with 17. Three Pacers fouled out in the loss.
The team will face N.C. Wesleyan at home on Sunday at 4 p.m. in a Play 4 Kay game.
