RALEIGH, N.C. -- The WPU men's basketball team (1-5) heads back into conference play on Saturday, December 16, to take on Ferrum College (2-4) at 2:00 p.m. in Hermann Gym. The Pacers have had just over a week to prepare, as many schools have been finishing up their final exams for the semester.
The Pacers are lead by sophomore,
Trey Bryant who is averaging 12.2 points and 7.2 rebounds through six games, with a .615 field goal percentage. Closely behind Bryant,
Camden Ferguson is averaging 10.2 points per game.
The Panthers of Ferrum College enter the match after coming off of a victory to conference opponent, Averett University. The Panthers defeated the Cougars in an exciting contest, 100-96. The win over the Cougars put an end to a four-game losing streak for Ferrum. The Panthers are led by big man, Josh Dudley who is averaging 14.6 points per game, 12.0 rebounds, as well as 4.4 assists per game.
