RALEIGH, N.C. -- The William Peace University men's basketball team heads back to their home court after a tough loss to Roanoke College 70-53. They will face Emory & Henry College in a 3 p.m. Saturday matchup in Raleigh, NC at the Hermann Athletic Center.
The Wasps are currently (2-0) on the season after defeating N.C. Wesleyan in overtime (84-71) on the 18th of November, while WPU holds a record of (1-2). The Pacers have not faced Emory & Henry since the 2014-15 season, where the Pacers were victorious (84-69).
In the game against Roanoke, Trey Bryant led the team with 14 points, and he leads the Pacers overall with 39 points and an average of 9.7 rebounds per game after 3 games. Camden Ferguson has 36 points after 3 games, with the majority of his points coming from behind the arc. The team is averaging 51 rebounds per game and is 23 for 34 at the line.
