RALEIGH, N.C. -- On Saturday, October 28, the Pacers collected two wins against Salem College and Mary Baldwin College, to secure their spot to host a segment of the USA South Conference Tournaments. The first and second placed teams for the East and West Divisions of the USA South Conference are hosting opening rounds of the conference tournament beginning Tuesday, October 31 in the Hermann Athletic Center. The first round will feature the #3 seed, Meredith College and the #6 seed Greensboro College competing at 5:00 p.m. Following that match, the #2 ranked Pacers will take on the winner of that match in a quarter-final contest starting at 7:30 p.m.
The #1 seed Averett University will be hosting the the other portion of the East Divison first and quarter-final rounds in Danville, VA on Tuesday as well. Averett University will take on the winner of the #4 seed Salem College and #5 seed Methodist University match-up. The winners of these matches will determine who will host the remaining stages of the conference tournament.
