RALEIGH, N.C. - - The WPU volleyball team wraps up the regular season with a quad-match on Saturday, October 28. The Pacers take on Mary Baldwin at 10:00 a.m. and will end the day with a game against Salem College.
The fighting squirrels of Mary Baldwin are (0-29) on the season overall. The last time these two teams played, the Pacers defeated the Squirrels in a 3-0 sweep with a line score of 25-11, 25-7, 25-13.
At the conclusion of the first game, Salem College will face Greensboro at 12:00 p.m. Following the second game, Greensboro will have a quick turn-around and will take on Mary Baldwin at 2:00 p.m. The Pacers will finish the day with a game against Salem College at 4:00 p.m.
The Spirits of Salem College enter the match with a (20-10) overall record and are (9-5) in conference. They rank fourth in the USA South conference while the Pacers stand in second place behind Averett University. The Pacers and Spirits matched up previously on October 7 where WPU defeated Salem in a 3-1 victory.
With this quad-match, the Pacers have an opportunity to potentially host the first round of the USA South East-Division play-offs, should they win both games.
The final game against the Spirits on Saturday will be a senior day celebration for the four seniors on the WPU volleyball team. The Pacers will be honoring seniors,

Josie Richardson,
Carson Williams, and
Liana Solomon.
