RALEIGH, NC -- The Pacers are aiming to latch on to a conference win this week as they travel to Rocky Mount, NC to take on the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan College. The Pacers are looking to bounce back from their recent loss against Brevard College where they fell 4-2 to the Tornadoes. 

The NC Wesleyan match is scheduled for Wednesday, on October 11, at 4:00 p.m. Presently, the Bishops have an overall season record of (7-5) and (6-1) in conference play, and are on a 6 game winning streak. The Pacers are sitting at a (6-7-1) overall and are (2-4-1) in conference play. The match is projected to be a competitive one, as NC Wesleyan sits at the number one spot in the USA South for the East conference standings, tied with Greensboro College who is also (6-1) in the USA South.

Senior, Chris Deleon is tied for third in the conference for goals scored this season (10). Deleon leads the conference in shots at 70. Senior, Christian Ortiz is ranked fourth in the USA South with 55 saves this season.
