ROCKY MOUNT -- The William Peace University women's basketball team beat N.C. Wesleyan 56-42 on Sunday afternoon to improve to 12-3 on the year and 5-1 in the USA South. The Pacers have won 11 of their past 12 games.
William Peace took control of the game early and never looked back. The Pacers were led by
Whitney Walker who scored 14 points.
Hannah Ericksen finished with 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for her first double-double of the season andÂ
Makayla Ray grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in the win.
With the win over N.C. Wesleyan, the Pacers still sit at second in the East of the USA South behind Ferrum who is undefeated.
