ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- The William Peace men's basketball team will square off against N.C. Wesleyan on Wednesday evening in Rocky Mount. The Pacers will look to bounce back after coming off a loss to St. Augustine's on Jan. 2.
William Peace (8-4) is being led by seniors
Ryan Emfinger,
Chris Thomas and
Jalen Vince. Emfinger is scoring 16.2 points per game while Thomas is averaging 15.6. Vince is scoring 9.9 points and averaging 4.8 assists per game.
After getting off to a hot start, the Pacers have dropped three of their last five contests. However, the team is 1-0 in the USA South and sits third in the conference.
N.C. Wesleyan (7-4) is being led by Adrian Moore who leads the conference at 20.1 points per game. The junior is also averaging nearly four steals a game. Justin Tankelewicz is scoring 16.5 points a game while Chris Braswell is averaging 12.2.
This will be the first conference game for the Battling Bishops. The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be
