Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The William Peace University men's basketball team fell to No. 15 Emory 100-80 on Friday night. The Pacers' defeat matches WPU (1-1) against UT Dallas (0-2) in the consolation match at the Guilford College Invitational.
 
Chris Thomas led the Pacers in scoring with 21. Thomas had 18 of his 21 points in the first half. Jalen Vince scored 15 and assisted on seven made field goals. Camden Ferguson also reached double digits in the points column with 11.
 
The Pacers had a hard time getting stops on defense with only three blocks and nine steals. However, the team's persistence and effort showed with the Pacers winning the offensive boards battle at 13-11.
 
William Peace's game against UT Dallas will be played at 4 p.m.
