FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The William Peace University women's soccer team traveled to Methodist University on Saturday, where the Pacers (2-8-1, 1-5 USAS) fell by a final score of 8-0.
Hayley Bowles scored the first two goals for Methodist (4-5, 4-2 USAS) in the 6th and 12th minutes, both of which were assisted by Taylor Cavazos, who made it 3-0 with a goal of her own in the 16th.
Sarah Snotherly, Miranda Gay and Capri Clark each scored to make it 6-0 at half. Clark added a second goal on the other side of the break, and Jasmine Newman tacked on another.
The WPU women's soccer team looks to get back on track tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. on the road against North Carolina Wesleyan
