CARY, NC – The William Peace University women's soccer team was back in action on Sunday afternoon, traveling to take on the Avenging Angels of Meredith College, where the Pacers fell, 8-0.

WPU (5-7-2, 3-4 USAS) allowed six goals in the first half. Meredith (9-4, 7-0 USAS) added two more in the second half and remains atop the USA South conference standings.

The WPU women's soccer team plays again next on Wednesday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. as they hit the road again to face Greensboro College.
