Wilkerson led the Pacers through the inaugural season of women’s golf in program history during the 2025-26 academic year. In the program’s debut campaign, William Peace competed in five competitive events, including the 2026 USA South Women’s Golf Championship in Sanford, North Carolina.
At the conference championship, the Pacers placed multiple golfers within the top 32 of a field featuring more than 50 competitors, highlighted by Morgan Knight’s 31st-place finish as William Peace concluded the inaugural season in program history.
Wilkerson played a key role in building the program from the ground up through recruiting, scheduling, and establishing the foundation for women’s golf at William Peace.
Prior to arriving at William Peace, Wilkerson served as Athletic Director at East Millbrook Middle School, where he oversaw 10 athletic programs and helped support student-athlete development across multiple sports.
Known for his leadership and relationship-building approach, Wilkerson has extensive experience mentoring and developing student-athletes both on and off the course.
A native of Forest City, North Carolina, Wilkerson graduated from Western Carolina University in 2017 with a degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management before earning his Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine in 2020.
