BUENA VISTA, Va. – William Peace women's soccer dropped a USA South Conference match up on Friday night, falling 11-0 to Southern Virginia at Knight Stadium.
The Knights built early momentum with two goals in the first half before sealing the deal and adding nine in the second half. Gaby Vazquez had a busy night in net, recording 11 saves across 90 minutes of action.
Peace generated five shots in the contest, with Liv Kanalis putting one on frame to force a stop from the Knights' keeper. Mia Rumachik led the Pacers with two attempts off the bench, while Samantha Fore and Josie Tucker each added a shot.
The Pacers (1-7-1, 0-4-0 USA South) will look to regroup when they return home for their next conference match.
