RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace University Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Alex Kulka as the new Head Men's Golf Coach. With almost a decade of golf experience, an extensive professional background, and a passion for mentorship, Kulka is fit to lead the Pacers to new heights.
Kulka brings extensive knowledge and strong leadership skills to the role, brought from his experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at River Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since January 2023, he has overseen golf operations, organized successful events, collaborated with vendors, and provided coaching and mentorship to golfers of all levels. His hands-on experience in both the technical and operational aspects of the sport will bring value to the emerging WPU Men's Golf program.
"We are excited for Alex to get started and build on the foundation that Coach Duty established." WPU Athletic Director Claude Shields said. "We have some quality young players in our program and can't wait to see what we are able to do this Spring and moving forward!"
Kulka is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Organizational Communication. While at CCSU, he also gained leadership experience as a Public Relations Intern for the Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter and competed on the university's Rugby Team.
