Smith Earns Silver Medal At USA South Indoor Track & Field Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Majesty Smith of William Peace earned a silver medal in the first-ever USA South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the JDL Fast Track.

Smith placed second in the women's shot put with a throw of 10.88 meters (35-8.5) to gain the medal. She also finished eighth in the weight throw with a toss of 10.16 meters (33-4).

Alexandria Wilborn provided the other highlight for the Pacers. She won Heat 5 in the women's 200 meter dash. The Pacers' sprinter placed 12^th overall.
