Women's Soccer Falls In USA South Tournament

BREVARD, N.C. – No. 8 seed William Peace fell to No. 1 seed Brevard 3-0 in a USA South Tournament women's soccer first-round game on Saturday.

The Pacers finished the season 5-8-2 overall while Brevard remained undefeated at 15-0-2.

Despite being the eighth seed, the Pacers trailed by a slim 1-0 margin late in the second half. Brevard scored two goals in the final 15 minutes to secure the win.

William Peace was outshot 21-6 in the loss. Goalkeeper Gaby Vazquez recorded 11 saves for the Pacers.
