Women's Soccer Looks To Keep Rolling In Tuesday's Game Vs. Pfeiffer

Emma Mayer In Action Against Regent Earlier This Season
RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace looks to build on Saturday's win in a home USA South women's soccer game against Pfeiffer on Tuesday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Admission is free to the public.

The Pacers (2-3 USA South, 4-4-2 overall), have won two of their last three contests, including a 1-0 home victory over Salem that keeps them in contention for a USA South tournament berth. The USA South's top eight teams advance to the conference tournament, and the Pacers are currently seventh in the 10-team league with four games left.

William Peace is led by midfielder/forward Emma Avery and defender Emma Mayer. Avery scored her team-high sixth goal this season on a corner kick in the win over Salem. Mayer assisted on the goal, her team-high third assist this season.

Goalkeeper Gaby Vazquez led a Pacers' defense that held Salem scoreless.

Pfeiffer, ninth in the USA South standings, comes to Cary 1-5 in the conference and 3-9 overall. The Pacers are 3-0-1 in the series since 2021.
