HOW IT HAPPENED
The Quakers would begin the half with a few quick shots on goal, which were handled by keeper
Makenzie Jones. Jones would continue to make strong saves as the Pacers battled, but the Quakers' Jenna Shotton would find the back of the net at 37:18 to take a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
The Quakers would score again early in the second half, with a goal from Madison Green giving them a 2-0 advantage. Less than a minute later,
Kyra Delaney would put away a rebound on a shot from
Gabrielle Jones to cut the Quaker lead to 2-1. The Pacers would test goalkeeper Ady Franken would several good chances, but would be unable to tie it up and would fall 2-1.
