RALEIGH, NC – William Peace University men's lacrosse fell 25-12 to Southern Virginia University. The Pacers celebrated the careers of seniors Nick Falso, Kuleul Moore, Drew Von Werne, Riely Murray, Tristan Carter, and Brewer Warlick.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first quarter would be a back-and-forth matchup, with the Pacers taking a 3-1 lead with goals from Patrick Calhoun, Adam Braden, and Drew Von Werne. The Knights would tie it up before another goal from Patrick Calhoun would bring the score to 4-3.  A goal from Brewer Warlick would put the Pacers up 5-4, while a goal on the man-ip from Devin Noonan would put them up 6-5. The Knights would push back near the end of the quarter to lead 8-6.

The Knights would dominate possession in the 2nd, scoring 9 in a row to lead 17-7. A goal from Brewer Warlick would cut the lead to 17-7 late in the 2nd. In the third, the Knights would add three quick goals to lead 20-7, but three goals from Devin Noonan, Brewer Warlick, and Nick Falso would cut the lead to 20-10. In the fourth, goals from Brewer Warlick and Nick Falso would cut the lead to 22-12, but the Knights would add three final goals to secure a 25-12 win.
