RALEIGH, NC-- William Peace University women's soccer fell in the first round of the USA South Conference Tournament to Greensboro College by a score of 1-0. The Pacers wrap up the year with an 11-6 record, posting a new program record for the most wins in a single season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half would be a back-and-forth contest. The Pacers would get several shots on goal early coming from
Victoria Finklea,
Kyra Delaney, and
Raine Greene, however the Pride goalkeeper would collect three quick saves to keep the game scoreless.
Makenzie Jones would make a good save near the end of the half to keep the Pride at bay and the game would go into halftime still scoreless.
The Pacers would continue to control much of the possession in the second half, with
Dayna Kenworthy putting up a good chance early. The Pride would get on the board late with a goal from Taylor Harrison to lead 1-0 with about 9 minutes remaining. The Pacers would continue to put on the pressure but would be unable to convert and would fall 1-0 to the Pride.
