HOW IT HAPPENED
Rachel Alford would get the game going for the Pacers right away as she broke away from the Wildcat defense at 2:15 to score to put the Pacers up 2-0 early. Lillian Bates and Raine Greene would put some pressure on the Wildcat defense as they put several shots on net, and Bates would find the back of the net at 17:03 to give the Pacers a 2-0 lead, with an assist from Greene. The Pacers would continue to hold the momentum, and would head into halftime leading 2-0.

In the second half, the Pacers would continue to control most of the possession. Rachel Alford would put a few early shots on net, but goalkeeper Leah Bragaw would keep her from adding to the Pacer lead. The Pacer defense would keep the Wildcats from gaining any opportunities throughout the second half, and the team would clinch the 2-0 win.
