MISENHEIMER, NC -- William Peace University men's lacrosse fell to Pfeiffer University by a score of 24-11 to conclude the 2021 season.
Nick Falso tallied his 150th career point in the loss, notching a total of 5 goals. Falso also tied the program record for most points in a single season with 57.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons would get out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first period, but a goal from Nick Falso, which would also mark his 150th career point, would cut the deficit to 2-1. Riely Murray's goal would tie it 2-2, with Falso adding his second of the game to put the Pacers ahead 3-2. The Falcons would then go on a hot streak, tallying 12 in a row to lead 14-3 midway through the second period. Falso would add two more in the second period to cut down the Pfeiffer lead, but the Falcons would head into halftime leading 17-5. The third period would again prove to go in favor of the Falcons as they added six goals, but the Pacers would hold the Falcons to just a single goal in the final period, scoring 5 of their own as they would ultimately fall by a score of 24-11.
