HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half would be a match-up between Pacer goalkeeper Abigail Mosteller and MBU goalkeeper Anyka Wilkin, as both made strong saves in net to keep the game scoreless. Kayla Johnson, Victoria Finklea, and Raine Greene would each challenge Wilkin in the first thirteen minutes of play, but Wilkin would make some key saves. The Fighting Squirrels would get a good chance near the end of the half as a shot by Elena Guy would hit the post, sending the game into halftime still scoreless.

The Fighting Squirrels would come out strong in the second half, putting several shots on net and controlling possession .Annie Ammons would find a way past Mosteller at 69:19 to give MBU a 1-0 lead. Ten minutes later, Kaiden Scanlon would increase the MBU lead to 2-0. The Pacers were unable to recover, and would fall 2-0.
