Shaelyn Webb tying the game in the second half. NC Wesleyan would take a 2-1 lead midway through the second half, NCWC goalkeeper Alicia Jacobs would keep the Pacers from tying it up despite several good chances.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Battling Bishops would start out the game by creating multiple scoring opportunities, challenging Pacer goalkeeper Kasey Wilkins. Wilkins proved to be up for the challenge as she made several early key saves to keep the game scoreless. NCWC would continue to put the pressure on the Pacer defense, with Kristen Thompson finding the back of the net at 22:12 to give her team a 1-0 lead. Jordan Rogers and Raine Greene would put up some late shots on NCWC goalkeeper Alicia Jacobs, but Jacobs would keep the Pacers from scoring to send NCWC into the half leading 1-0.
Greene would continue to put the pressure on Jacobs at the start of the second half, while Shaelyn Webb would break through for the Pacers to tie the game 1-1 at 56:53. The second half would be a battle for possession, but Kristen Thompson would get her second of the night at 75:30 to give NCWC a 2-1 lead. Kyra Delaney and Raine Greene would get some late scoring chances, but Alicia Jacobs would stand tall for NCWC to secure the win.
