Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Pacers Fall to Agnes Scott

Decatur, GA-- The William Peace Women's soccer team fell to the Agnes Scott Scotties by a score of 1-0

The game would have a back and forth start as both teams would look to go forward in the early stages of the game as both teams recorded two shots under ten minutes. Raine Greene would take two early shots that would sail just high. The Scotties Myah Johnson would have the clearest scoring opportunity in front of net early on but would put it wide. Late in the first half momentum would shift to Agnes Scott as they would control the run of play. The Scotties would finish the first half with 13 shots with only four of them being on goal. However Kasey Wilkins would keep the score level at 0-0 heading into halftime as she came up with four saves.

The second half would see more of the same as Anges Scott continued to put pressure on the Pacers defense. The breakthrough would come in the 68th minute as Val'Dazia Todd put the Scotties up 1-0. The Pacers could not get anything going up field as Anges Scott was solid defensively.  Abigail Mosteller would keep the Pacers in the game with five second half saves but the Scotties defense would hold the Pacers offense and preserve a 1-0.
