The Basics:

How it Happened:

• The Hawks would be the first to score in the first period but back-to-back goals from Brewer Warlick and Nick Falso would give the Pacers an early 2-1 lead.

• Anthony Florian would get his 30th goal of the season to put the Pacers back up 3-2 with 10 minutes left in the first period.

• The Hawks would tie it up yet again but would be answered by two goals from Walker Rice assisted by Riley Murray and Nick Falso to bring the score to 5-3.

• Brewer Warlick would score his 30th goal of the season but that goal would be answered by one from the Hawks to end the first period with a score of 6-4 Pacers.

• The Hawks were first to answer again at the start of the second period but would get into foul trouble and would allow Nick Falso to score a man-up goal to maintain the Pacers 7-5 lead.

• The Hawks would ultimately tie it up and then take the 8-7 lead. But Tre Galligan on the Pacers would tie the game back up at 8-8 with just under five minutes remaining in the first half.

• Nick Falso scored in the last two minutes of the first half for a first half hat trick and tied the game up at 9-9.

• The first five minutes of the third period would remain scoreless until the Hawks went on a scoring spree and scored four unanswered goals to take a 13-9 lead.

• In the last four minutes of the third period the Pacers would find their offense and would score three goals from Nick Falso, Brewer Warlick and Anthony Florian to end the third period only trailing by one goal 12-13. This goal made a hat trick for Brewer Warlick.

• The Hawks would continue their early period offensive strike scoring three unanswered goals to give them the 16-12 lead in the fourth period.

• Anthony Florian was the first Pacer to strike in the fourth period and would score a hat trick himself cutting the lead to 13-16 Hawks.

• With just over five minutes remaining in the game Walker Rice would score a hat trick assisted by Dalton Albright as well cut the lead to only two.

• Despite a strong fight from the Pacers until the end, the Hawks would hold on to win 17-14.

What's Next:

The William Peace men's lacrosse team finishes the season with a 6-11 overall record. The Pacers reached their first ever USA South Conference Tournament while also placing three on All-Conference teams. With the only two seniors the future is bright for the William Peace Men's Lacrosse program.
