Greensboro, NC---The William Peace University women's soccer team fell (3-0) against Greensboro College to open up conference play.
The Pacers would start the game off holding off the Pride's offense as Greensboro College would start the game with early shots by Anna Rae Porcelli and Sydney Moss. In the twelfth minute, the Pride would find the break through as Madison Karch found the back of the net to put the Pride on top (1-0). Â After Greensboro's goal the Pacers would hold the Pride and go into halftime down (1-0). In the start of the second half the Pacers would give up and early goal as Sydney Moss collected her second goal of the season to put Greensboro up (2-0). Anna Rae Porcelli scored on PK to make the game (3-0) in the sixty-third minute and would put the game out of reach. William Peace was not able to get anything going forward as the Greensboro defense stood strong. The Pacers were able to get some good combination play going at times just were not able to complete the final pass.

What's Next?
The William Peace University women's soccer team will be back in action on October 2 at home at 3:00PM and matchup against Methodist College who comes in with an overall record of (4-3) while your Pacers have an overall record of (2-4-1). The two teams played this past Thursday but the match was called due to inclement weather.
