CARY, NC – The William Peace University women's soccer team hosted Methodist University Saturday afternoon, where the Pacers fell by a final score of 3-1.
The Pacers (3-15-1, 2-11 USAS) tied the game at one before the break, as
Alyssa Gasperini broke through for her second goal of the season in the 40th minute. Sarah Snotherly put the Monarchs (7-5-2, 7-2-2 USAS) back on top though in the 66th with the help of Jasmine Newman. Kortney Maggard connected with Taylor Cavazos for a third Methodist goal in the 83rd.
The WPU women's soccer team is back at WakeMed Soccer Park tomorrow, closing out the season against North Carolina Wesleyan. The game is slated to kickoff at 2:00 p.m.
