FERRUM, VA -The William Peace University men's and women's swim teams found success on the road in their head-to-head dual meet against Ferrum College.

The men's team earned their first victory of their inaugural season, outscoring the Panthers 106-67! The men's team took six events with first place finishes. Brandon Medins kicked off the meet with a first place finish in the Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle with a finish of 11:12.57. Keelan Falk would earn a first place finish in the Men's 50 Yard Butterfly, finishing less than one second ahead of Ferrum's Taylor Darnell. Sam Lavinder would post an impressive first place finish with  more than a 20 second victory margin in the Men's 100 Yard IM with a finish of 1:02.39. Once again, the Pacers sound relay team would pack a powerful punch as Sam Lavinder, Jacob Dohmann, Keelan Falk, and Brandon Medins would take first place in the Men's 400 yard Freestyle Relay.

Mikayla Brown would be the solo competitor for the women's team as she swam in three events for the Pacers. Brown brought in nine points after competing in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle, Women's 100 Yard Freestyle, and Women's 50 Yard Backstroke.
